Bilingual strongly preferred, for representation of low-income persons with disabilities and chronic health problems. Practice areas include evictions, public entitlements, family and consumer law. Staff Advocate

The Community Health Law Project is a non-profit organization that provides legal and advocacy services to low-income persons with disabilities. CHLP is seeking a staff advocate for its Monmouth/Ocean Regional office. Practice areas include public entitlements and social service procurement. Advocates represent clients at administrative proceedings such as Social Security hearings; such as, Welfare and Social Security hearings and conduct outreach to service providers and clients. Bachelor’s degree required. Fluency in Spanish a plus. Salary depending on experience.
